North Queensland Discovery - from Cairns

Day 1 to 2 Cape Tribulation for 2 nights (145km)

From Cairns begin your journey along the coastal road to Port Douglas with time to browse the boutiques and galleries before travelling to Mossman for a swim in its famous gorge. Enjoy a relaxed two night stay in the Ferntree Lodge at Cape Tribulation, where the World Heritage rainforest meets the azure blue waters of the Coral Sea.

Day 3 to 4 Atherton Tablelands for 2 nights (135km)

Journey inland through the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, a region abundant with crystal clear lakes, waterfalls, rich red soil and rugged outback scenery. Take a refreshing swim in Lake Eacham, cruise the crater lake of Lake Barrine or walk through the rainforest to the famous Curtain Fig Tree. Enjoy two nights accommodation at the Eden House Retreat & Mountain Spa.

Day 5 to 7 Mission Beach for 2 nights (160km)

Stop at the spectacular Millaa Millaa Falls en route to Mission Beach where you can unwind on its palm fringed white sand, spending two nights at the beautiful Castaways Resort & Spa. A day trip to Dunk Island is possible or, for the more adventurous, try your hand at white water rafting on the famous Tully River, before returning to Cairns on your final day.
