Day 1:
The Blue Mountains National Park is one of seven national parks that make up the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. This wonderland of sandstone outcrops, deep ravines and hazy blue eucalypt forests boasts luxury retreats and the world's steepest railway. Travel with your guide off the beaten track to visit remote lookout locations and discuss the history, flora and fauna of this magnificent region. The first stop this morning is at Euroka Clearing located deep in the National Park. There is abundant birdlife to be found here, and it's also home to wild kangaroos. Then commence the drive to the Blue Mountains, travelling through the picturesque village of Wentworth Falls, home to a good collection of Victorian and other historic buildings and onto the Wentworth Falls Lookout for spectacular views over the Jamison Valley and the magnificent waterfall for which it is named. Continuing on, arrive at Eaglehawk Lookout, a remote point away from the crowds for views of the famous Three Sisters.

Day 2: Start your day with breakfast, then enjoy the morning at leisure. Early afternoon you will head to the village of Blackheath and your lunch venue. Here in this relaxed, friendly club enjoy a 2 course lunch at the Hydro Majestic Hotel. Following lunch, the afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Visit Govetts Leap, one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. Enjoy the sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. The last stop is at the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens where there's time for a short inspection of the flora including the ancient Wollemi Pine. From here we commence our return to Sydney.
