Visit four state capitals in a leisurely 17 day itinerary which will allow you to delve into each unique and exiting city at your own pace.
• Australian city culture
• Perth’s golden beaches
• Melbourne’s boutique shopping
• Sydney’s picturesque Harbour
• Brisbane’s lively nightlife
Day 1 - Begin in Perth, Australia’s most isolated city – built on the edge of the Swan River Perth and considered the gateway to Western Australia. Spend 4 nights at Mounts Bay exploring the region – relax in beautiful Kings Park or take an optional day trip to neighbouring Rottnest Island.
Day 5 - Travel to Melbourne by flight or if time permits why not see more of Australia’s outback by travelling by rail through the Nullarbor Plains to Victoria’s state capital. Spend 4 nights at the centrally located Batmans Hill and sample some of the delights which make Melbourne Australia’s cultural and sporting capital.
Excursions to the Great Ocean Road and Philip Island Penguins are top of the list of optional excursions to enjoy.
Day 9 - Again either fly or take a scenic daytime train journey to Sydney. Enjoy 4 nights at the Wyndham with the exciting harbour city on your doorstep. Spend your day whale watching or climbing the famous Harbour Bridge, just ask your consultant to build these into your holiday.
In the evening relax with a cocktail or two on Circular Quay or try some traditional Aussie cuisine in one of Darling Harbour’s many fashionable restaurants.
Day 13 - Finally head north to Queensland’s capital city of Brisbane for a 4 night stay at the Rendezvous. Additional attractions such as Australia Zoo and the Gold Coast are nearby or there’s a chance to feed the dolphins at the famous Tangalooma Island Resort.
