Why not take in some culture on Australia holidays?

August 27th, 2010

Those looking to indulge in a bit of tradition during a visit down under may want to check out the Alice Desert Festival.

This arts and cultural festival is taking place from September 10th to the 19th in Alice Springs and is designed to celebrate the unique lifestyle of the central part of the country, which could be ideal for those on Australia holidays.

Its website noted: "Featuring a vibrant program borne out of the desert landscape, we celebrate the dynamic exchange between cultures in the heart of Australia."

An array of events will be taking place throughout the spectacle, including the cooking of traditional food, as well as various musical acts – and this year marks the 10th anniversary of the extravaganza.

Those who are keen on attending the show may also be interested in the Manly Jazz Festival, which takes place from October 2nd to the 4th at Manly Wharf, the Corso and Manly Ocean Beachfront.
