PerthThose heading to Western Australia soon might want to check out the Avon Descent – a unique event situated in some very picturesque scenery.

It passes through Northam and Toodyay, as well as the Swan Valley vineyard region and forested national parks, challenging participants to travel by power and paddle craft to cover 134 kilometres in only two days.

Australia holidays often provide visitors with the chance to see some wonderful sporting activities and, according to the region’s tourist organisation, this is a great even to add to the list.

It takes place on August 7th and 8th and is expected to see people from all over the globe take part.
