There was a big interest shown in Kangaroo Island at a recent event.
According to Greg Miller of Bay of Shoals' Wines, there was a lot of notice taken to the attraction at the Royal Melbourne Show with plenty of the 600,000 visitors pointing out that they had seen the area on TV, the Islander reports.
He added: "It was also great to meet those who had been here before and want to do a return visit."
What's more, Mr Miller stated that there are even more opportunities for the region to play a bigger part in the spectacle and it is easier when people join forces to promote it.
"It is a very cost-effective exercise when we work co-operatively," he observed.
Those on Australia holidays keen on a visit to the area may like to base themselves in Adelaide, which former England cricketer Ian Botham called a "beautiful big town" earlier this year.
