Those looking for something to do on holiday in Australia may be interested in checking out the Queensland Multicultural Festival.
The event – which takes place Sunday October 17th from 10:00 to 17:00 local time – is on at the Roma Street Parkland in the Brisbane CBD.
More than 94 different cultures will be showcased at the spectacle, according to the region's government, with music and dance presentations set to be on display.
What's more, those on Australia holidays might be pleased to note that the extravaganza is free and there are 85 performances on the bill providing "something for every person of every age".
The administration added: "Go around the world in one day and join the feast of worldly experiences in this one-stop authentic cultural festival extravaganza!"
In addition, a new social media campaign – titled Passport to Shine – was recently launched by Tourism Queensland to encourage visitors to the region by enabling Facebook users to create a virtual passport about their experiences down under.
