The “healthy and rewarding” lifestyle offered by Australia makes it an attractive place to stay.
Tom Blackett, spokesman for the Australian Visa Bureau – an independent immigration advisory service – noted the “young and prosperous nation” has plenty to offer and so holidays to Australia could entice many Britons.
He added: “Throw more than 10,000 beaches and almost perpetual summer into the mix, and you can see why Australia is a great place.”
Mr Blackett continued by saying that it was ranked second on the United Nations Human Development Index.
The economy is also performing well by worldwide standards, he observed, which means individuals may still be able to get their hands on a good deal due to the presence of competition.
Tourists can also look forward to enjoying a country that speaks English as its first language, loves the pub culture and has a deep affection for all things sporting.
