Those interested in experiencing some Australian history might like to visit a 148-year-old festival.
The Perth Show could be a great attraction to add something extra to an Australian holiday, which takes place on August 6th and 7th.
Such is the popularity of the event that it had to be changed from a one-day extravaganza to two as it draws in around 20,000 people.
Moreover, the agricultural event will feature an array of livestock on display competing for prizes, which will be followed by a Grand Parade of the award winners.
And there will be entertainment courtesy of The Royal Artillery Motor Cycle Display Team, which will be travelling at speeds of around 100mph to wow the crowds.
The area of Perth was described earlier this year by Khangale Makhado, of the Sowetan, as a "tourist gem" and the writer advised travellers to visit the wine region of Swan Valley.
