A 20 day memorable adventure which incorporates a mixture of pre-booked campsites, hotel accommodaiton and touring.
Day 1 No driving today, relax and prepare for a great trip!
Arrive into Auckland and take a bit of time out to recover from the flight by over-nighting at an Auckland Airport hotel.
Day 2 Auckland/Coromandel (168km)
Pick up your United Motorhome from the depot where you will get a thorough briefing and orientation of the vehicle. First stop after leaving the depot is recommended at the airport Foodtown where you can stock up with supplies at
the airport shopping complex, then you’re ready to hit the road. Take a leisurely drive to the picturesque town of Coromandel this afternoon.

Day 3 Coromandel/Waihi Beach (175kms)
Enjoy the natural beauty of the Coromandel, visit hot water beach and travel to Waihi Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula, a favourite holiday spot with kiwis.

Day 4 Waihi Beach/Rotorua (218km)
Travel to Rotorua, spend the afternoon making use of your Rotorua Travel Limited Attraction Pass that allows you to experience 5 of Rotorua’s top attractions.
Overnight: Rotorua Thermal Holiday Park - this Holiday Park has a great feature of onsite thermal pools that you have the use of.
Day 5 Rotorua Sightseeing & Rotorua/Taupo (80km)
Spend the morning enjoying Rotorua and attractions, then travel to Taupo and overnight at a Taupo Holiday Park in a Tourist Cabin, giving you a chance to stretch the legs outside of the motorhome and you can enjoy a soak in the onsite thermal pools.

Day 6 Taupo/Napier (143km)
Drive to Napier today and spend the afternoon enjoying the beautiful Art Deco, seaside town of Napier.
Overnight: Bayview Snapper Holiday Park with a great beachfront location.
Day 7 Napier/Wellington (323km)
Spend the morning in Napier before heading to Wellington in the afternoon.
Overnight: Capital City Gateway Motorlodge - powered motorhome site, close to ferry terminal and the CBD.
Day 8 Day In Wellington
Free time to explore Wellington City and surrounds.

Day 9 Wellington/Nelson (202km)
Cook Straight ferry crossing this morning, upon arrival in Picton drive to Nelson to spend the night.
Overnight: Tahuna Beach Holiday Park.
Day 10 Day in Nelson
Free day today to explore the Abel Tasman region.
Overnight: Tahuna Beach Holiday Park.
Day 11 Nelson/Greymouth (290km)
Travel down the rugged and scenic West Coast of New Zealand, to Greymouth today.
Overnight: Greymouth Seaside Holiday Park
Day 12 Greymouth/Franz Josef (177km)
Continue your journey down the West Coast to Franz Josef. Free afternoon to take a glacier tour or explore the area.

Free day to explore Queenstown and surrounds. This exciting town offers a huge range of adventure and scenic activities in one of the most beautiful lakeside settings in the country. Included is entrance to the AJ Hackett Kawarau Bungy Centre that enables you to learn the history and further understand the bungy experience with a cinematic experience and preferential position on the viewing platform.

Day 16 Queenstown/Te Anau (170km)
Travel to Te Anau today, suggested evening tour of the glow worm caves or simply relax and enjoy the setting.

Leave the motorhome in Te Anau today and take a Milford Sound coach and cruise tour. Enjoy the opportunity to sit back and relax, listening to an informative commentary provided by your expert driver/guide.
