Day 1 Arrive Wellington

On arrival, you will be met by a representative & transferred to your city hotel for a welcome drink with your fellow travel companions.

Day 2 Wellington

Enjoy a day at leisure in New Zealand's capital - visit the National Museum of Te Papa, or take a tour of the Parliament Building, or simply relax on the city's beautiful natural harbour.

Day 3 Napier

Travel along the Kapiti Coast through to Palmerston North and Napier for a tour of this art deco city.

Day 4 Rotorua

Your guide will take you on an exclusive walking tour to show the many different types of Art Deco architecture. In 1931 Napier was struck by a devestating earthquake. The subsequent fires destroyed most of the city which was later rebuit in art deco style. Travel north to Taupo, home to the largest lake in New Zealand. View the thundering Huka Falls and pass the Wairakei Geothermal Power Station. On arrival in Rotorua visit the Whakarewarewa Village for an authetic look at how Maori live today and how geothermal activity is part of their everyday life. Top off the day with a traditional Maori Hangi dinner and concert.

Day 5 Cambridge Farm Stay 

Enjoy a view of life on the farm at the Agrodome Sheep Show to experience the art of sheep shearing and sheep dog demonstrations as well as a visit to Rainbow Springs where you may be lucky enough to spot a kiwi. Later travel to the country town of Cambridge where you will be greeted by your local farm host for some genuine kiwi hospitality - an overnight Farm Stay! A farm tour is followed by dinner with your hosts.

Day 6 Coromandel

Depart Cambridge and travel towards the Coromandel Ranges. This afternoon meet a local expert who will show you fine examples of the regions native wildlife. The accommodation for the night consists if unique luxury tree huts set amongst native bush. Enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow passengers.

Day 7 Depart Auckland
Travel through the Coromandel Ranges and stop at the old gold-mining town of Thames. See the sights of Auckland including city views from Mt Eden before being transferred to Auckland Airport for your onward flight.
