Day 1 - Port Douglas
Fly from London or your local airport on a scheduled flight where all your meals and drinks are included to the warm climates of Cairns where you will begin your honeymoon with a blissful 5 night stay at the luxury Thala Beach Lodge near Port Douglas with airport transfers included. Unwind surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest, relax on the resort’s private beach, or venture into Port Douglas for some boutique shopping and fine dining.
Share the experience of the Great Barrier Reef with an unforgettable full day cruise with the opportunity to snorkel, swim or simply relax. Or spend a day in the World Heritage listed Cape Tribulation Rainforest where you can walk beneath the towering forest canopy, stroll along its pristine beaches, or swim in the refreshing waters of Mossman Gorge.
Day 8 - Ayers Rock
Watch the landscape change colour as you fly over the outback to reach Ayers Rock. Spend 3 nights at the Desert Gardens Hotel during which time you have the opportunity to experience Ayers Rock away from the crowds - see the famous rock from the back of a camel or enjoy a romantic memorable helicopter flight over the monolith.
For the ultimate dining experience, enjoy the Sound of Silence feast of traditional Australian cuisine surrounded by the tranquillity and vastness of the outback under the gaze of Ayers Rock and the visible Milky Way.
Day 11 - Sydney
Fly to Sydney where you will spend 5 nights surrounded by the lively restaurants, bars and shops of Circular Quay, staying at the Rendezvous The Rocks. See Sydney at its very best during an evening dinner cruise taking in the famous Opera House and sailing under the Harbour Bridge.
There’s plenty of time to enjoy the city and its surrounds - take an optional day trip to the Hunter Valley to sample some of Australia’s famous wines, or unwind and relax on one of the city’s many neighbouring beaches. Conclude your honeymoon by watching the sunset from the lofty heights of the Harbour Bridge during your optional twilight Sydney Bridge climb.
Day 16 - Wave a fond farewell to the land Downunder as your board your return flight to the UK.
