Day 1: Melbourne
You will be transferred from Melbourne Airport to your hotel. This afternoon is at leisure.

Day 2: Great Ocean Road
Travel the length of the Great Ocean Road passing towering limestone cliffs, sweeping white beaches and stunning forest scenery. See the amazing Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and explore Port Campbell National Park. (B)
Day 3: Melbourne & Penguins
Discover the charm of Melbourne with a guided tour around the city's sights including Captain Cook's Cottage, Queen Victoria Market, Fitzroy Gardens and Albert Park, home to the Australian Grand Prix. This afternoon enjoy your tour to Phillip Island, home to an astounding array of wildlife, including Australia's largest fur seal colony, the Little Penguins and cuddly koalas. Visit Maru Animal Park, for up close and personal encounters with koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian Devils and much more before going to the famous Penguin Parade. (B)
Day 4: Melbourne - Alice Springs
This morning you will be transferred from your Melbourne hotel to the airport for your flight to Alice Springs. This afternoon tour the sights of 'The Alice' including The School of the Air, the historic Telegraph Station,the Royal Flying Doctors Service and the Alice Springs Reptile Centre. The tour concludes with a panoramic view of the township of Alice Springs and the MacDonnell Ranges from the top of Anzac Hill.

Day 5: Alice Springs - Ayers Rock
This morning travel south through the MacDonnell and James Ranges to Ayers Rock Resort. You will be driven around the base of Ayers Rock before continuing on to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. Later visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where you can learn about Aboriginal culture and see Aboriginal arts and crafts. In the late afternoon we travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Witness the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying canapés and a complimentary glass of wine. Afterwards enjoy an Australian barbeque dinner, including beef steak, kangaroo fillets, chicken skewers, lamb sausages, garlic prawns and bread rolls with a variety of Australian wines, beers or soft drink (menu subject to change). There is time for stargazing too (weather permitting).

Day 6: Uluru – Kata Tjuta
Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and watch the spectacular sunrise over with Uluru in the distance from the western dune viewing area, light breakfast included. Enjoy a 2-3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout. Marvel at the unique flora and admire the view of the central valley of the domes of Kata Tjuta. (B)
Day 7: Ayers Rock – Cairns
This morning there is time available for an optional scenic helicopter flight or perhaps a Harley Davidson ride around Uluru. This afternoon you will be transferred from your hotel to Ayers Rock Airport for your onward flight. On arrival at Cairns Airport you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8: Great Barrier Reef
Board a cruise which will transfer you to a stable reef activity platform which is a perfect base for swimmers and non-swimmers alike to explore this natural wonder. Snorkel (equipment provided) or dive (optional extra) amongst beautiful coral gardens or stay dry and discover the reef from the underwater observatory and/or the air-conditioned semi-submersible vessel. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch which offers a selection of hot and cold dishes along with morning and afternoon teas. (BL)
Day 9: Tjapukai, Skyrail, Kuranda
Your tour today offers the wonder of the rainforest, as well as our unique indigenous culture. Meet your indigenous guide at Tjapukai, who will show you the many attractions of this fascinating park. Then board Skyrail, where you glide over the rainforest. After free time in Kuranda, the Kuranda Scenic Rail offers wonderful views as you wind your way to Freshwater Station. You will then be transferred back to Cairns. (B)
Day 10: Cairns - Sydney
This morning you will be transferred to Cairns Airport for your Sydney-bound flight. On arrival in Sydney you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore this vibrant city.

Day 11: Sydney Sights
This morning's sightseeing tour will take you across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and over to Manly Beach followed by a buffet lunch cruise around the famous harbour. Your tour continues through the historic Rocks area and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. See the colourful Royal Botanic Gardens on your way to visit The Gap and enjoy stunning views. Stop at the world-famous Bondi Beach and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Join the coach for your return to Sydney, travelling through Paddington, the exclusive Eastern suburbs and Rushcutters Bay. (BL)
Day 12: Blue Mountains
Discover the spectacular Blue Mountains and see native wildlife whilst you explore World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. Enjoy a stop at Echo Point and see the famous Three Sisters rock. Arrive at Scenic World and join the optional Blue Mountain rides - Scenic Railway, Cableway or Skyway (own expense). Discover Leura village where you will have free time for lunch or the chance to wander the streets. Next we enjoy an afternoon encounter at Featherdale Park and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala, see kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and cute little fairy penguins. Our last stop will be at Homebush Bay, the venue of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Here, you have the opportunity to catch your river cruise vessel back to Sydney and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Parramatta River (own expense). If you do not wish to join the ferry, the coach will arrive in Sydney at approximately 5.45pm. (BL)
