A must for all visitors is a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. There are many day trips and cruises available which give you the opportunity to snorkel or dive amongst the coral and brightly coloured tropical fish. You can even explore without getting your feet wet, aboard a glass bottomed boat or semi-submersible.
On land you can journey above ancient rainforest to the village of Kuranda on the amazing Skyrail cableway, with spectacular views of the Barron Gorge and Falls.

Port Douglas
